The Akashic Record is a phrase that gets used a lot without much explanation. Here's mine.
What it is
The Akashic Record is an energetic library. It holds the imprint of every choice, thought, and possibility of a soul across time. Different traditions have called it different names — the Book of Life, the etheric field, the soul's library. The word "Akashic" comes from the Sanskrit akasha, meaning ether or sky.
Practically: when I open your record, I'm asking for permission to access that library, and receiving what wants to come through for you today.
What it isn't
It isn't a psychic prediction service.
It isn't a way to get someone else's private information.
It isn't a substitute for therapy, medical care, or your own inner knowing.
What actually happens in a reading
I open your record with a prayer — a specific sequence I was taught, said aloud and internally. I confirm we have permission. You bring 3 to 5 questions, ideally open-ended. We work through them one at a time. I read what surfaces. You reflect.
At the end, I close the record with a closing prayer. We sit briefly with what came through.
What clients often notice
Answers to questions they hadn't thought to ask
A sense of being seen, not judged
Less urgency around the question they came in with
Themes that echo dreams or intuitions they'd been having
Who this is for
People who are willing to sit with mystery. Who trust that there's something wider than what they can see. Who want gentle, deep guidance — not a horoscope.
