Meeting Her Younger Self in the Akashic Records

A client — I'll call her N — came to an Akashic reading with a question she hadn't been able to put down: "Why do I always feel like I'm too much?"

She'd carried that feeling since childhood. Therapy had helped her name it. It had not, she said, taken it away.

Opening the record

I opened her record with the prayer. We confirmed permission. She asked her question aloud.

What came through was not an answer. It was an image.

A small girl, maybe five years old, standing in a kitchen. Being told to be quieter. To sit still. To take up less space. Not once — repeatedly, over years. The image was so specific that N gasped when I described it. It was her grandmother's kitchen. She hadn't thought of it in decades.

What she needed to see

The record showed her that "too much" wasn't a personality flaw. It was an early adaptation to a small container. What her family had experienced as too much, the record showed as exactly the right amount — for a soul who had come here to be big.

What happened after

N didn't have a breakthrough that day. She had a slow softening over the weeks that followed. She wrote to me: "I noticed I stopped shrinking in meetings. I don't know when it happened."

What the Akashic does

It doesn't fix you. It shows you the version of yourself you couldn't quite see from the inside — and lets that seeing do the work.
